Welcome to our blog that is wholly dedicated to the structure and function of the apical sodium-dependent bile acid transporter (ASBT).
The structure was solved using a bacterial homologue of ASBT. The bacterial strain used was Neisseria meningitidis.

This is a very easy read, particularly due to the use of a variety of subheadings and bullet points which instantly captivated attention. The pymol structures of each of the conformations/binding sites were really easy to follow, however you could have potentially included annotations? When you said that more work needs to be done on the molecule, what kind of experiments/research could be done in the future? Really good though!
ReplyDeleteThe writing shows that the author have a good understanding of the topic because they made a complex stuff into simple word which are easy to understand. Lots of details are given in a stepwise manner, which makes it easy to follow. Good use of diagrams.
ReplyDeletethe site is easy to navigate with good information flow, pymol figures help to illustrate the points made in the context about the structure well. Maybe put introduction in the home page? might help the author to get a grasp of what the site is about better.
ReplyDeleteI feel honoured by being welcomed to this blog!
ReplyDeleteLove this picture. Really great way of showing your PyMOL understanding.
